To promote a bilingual, biliterate and bicultural education for the advancement of Latino students and teachers in San Francisco through events such as family conference, a college fair, scholarships for college, and an education summit.

Complete description of goods or services offered
Consistent with our Vision and Mission statement, LATA is offers support, primarily in form of scholarships, to worthy Latino students in San Francisco. We also promote bilingual education and advocate for equity for all students, teachers and families in the public school system, especially in the Latino community, through college fairs, family conferences, and teacher events. Our yearly scholarships are up to $38,000 distributed among 14 students (in 2014).
